The Great American Cleanup is an annual event where a thousands of hard-working volunteers from all across the country volunteer to spend a Saturday morning cleaning up their neighborhood. Here the Keep Rockland Beautiful volunteers lead the charge. They handed out gloves, garbage bags, recycling bins and pickers. At one sit behind an furniture store the gang managed to gather up 15 huge bags of trash in just less than 90 minutes. Not a bad way to spend a Saturday morning.
