Junk King Gold Country/Chico teamed up with the Boys & Girls Club of the North Valley for the HAULidays Toy Drive, but isn’t letting the partnership end there. After becoming involved with the Boys & Girls Club and learning about the great things the organization does for the Chico community, Junk King Gold Country/Chico owners, Greg and Peggy Lymath, were eager to continue raising awareness for the organization’s motivational mission.
The Boys & Girls Club of the North Valley aims to inspire and enable all young people to reach their full potential as responsible, productive and caring citizens. Since the Paradise Camp Fire and the many other fires that have impacted Chico, the Boys & Girls Club have provided care to many struggling families as well as support to the fire departments.
From March 1 to March 31, Junk King Gold Country/Chico will be fundraising for the Boys & Girls Club to ensure children and families always have a safe, reliable place to go. By volunteering time and making donations, the Boys & Girls Club can continue their work in the North Valley.
Additionally, Junk King Gold Country/Chico is hosting a raffle event on Friday, March 26 at Secret Trail Brewery (132 Meyers St. Suite 120, Chico, CA 95928) from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. to help reach their fundraising goal. Fun prizes be raffled off and Secret Trail Brewery will be donating 10% of all beer sales during the raffle event.
You can donate and watch Junk King Gold Country/Chico’s progress in raising proceeds over the course of the month by visiting https://bgcnv.org/campaigns/junkking/. For those who schedule a junk removal with Greg, Peggy and their crew in the month of March, a check can be written to the Boys & Girls Club of North Valley and given to the haulers at the end of the job. Junk King Gold Country will be matching donations up to $1,000.
With Junk King’s mission of recycling, repurposing and reusing a majority of the items they pick up from their junk removal jobs, the Gold Country team has also dedicated themselves to donating any useful items to the Boys & Girls Club of North Valley.
