Beckett Ridge is a unique community in the sense that the many neighborhoods and housing developments that make up Beckett Ridge are regulated by a Homeowner’s Association. It is that HOA that provides for the upkeep of all the landscaping, common areas, and playgrounds. The “crown jewel” in Beckett Ridge is the Beckett Ridge County Club. The HOA also establishes the guidelines for exterior “changes and/or additions.” To make a change to your home, you need to get the association’s approval. That might seem a bit intrusive, but it’s all part of the Beckett Ridge living experience. This is why things always look as idyllic as they do. Of course, just because you have to maintain the exteriors of your homes doesn’t mean the interiors won’t occasionally fall victim to clutter. When that happens, it might be time to call in the professional junk haulers known as Junk King.
Junk King of Cincinnati serves all of Beckett Ridge. This means that a Junk King crew can be dispatched to your home with a single call to Junk King. Most of our customers can get same day service. That’s thanks to the roving fleets of Junk King trucks we have out in the area every day. When the Junk King crew shows up at your home, you’ll need to tell them what you want removed and then watch it go! This would be your opportunity to take on some major cleaning projects like de-cluttering your garage or clearing out your basement. One removal appointment with Junk King is all it will take to reclaim those areas and put them to more practical use. Whether you want to set up a home office or a spare bedroom, the first goal is to get rid of your junk.
Although the Beckett Ridge Homeowners Association is in charge of the landscaping, that doesn’t mean they can help you get rid of some bulky exterior objects like old patio furniture or grill. All of those things would fit nicely onto the back of the Junk King truck. There really is no limit to what you can get rid with a single Junk King appointment.
You should know that Junk King Cincinnati is committed to keeping the surrounding environment as clean as possible. This is accomplished through their eco-friendly philosophy. A company like Junk King is on the front line of rubbish disposal. As such, they need to be responsible to the community by fostering recycling. The vast majority of everything collected by Junk King will end up in an Ohio recycling center. That’s just the way Junk King does business. When you’re ready to get rid of your junk, Junk King will be ready for you.
Back in the 20s, 30s and 40s, streetcars were a popular mode of transportation in many cities. Today, only a handful of towns have those lines running. Places like San Francisco and New Orleans are two great examples. Pretty soon Cincinnati will be joining the streetcar club as the first rails of track were put down on Elm Street. This is for a line that will run from Over-the-Rhine to the banks with 17 stops along the way. While under construction there will no doubt be plenty of disruption and upheaval. You’re going to get that with any type of construction project whether it’s a new streetcar or a new kitchen. If you’ve got a construction project you’re starting around you home then you can minimize the upheaval by hiring a company like Junk King.
The city of Cincinnati recently overhauled its trash collection operation which meant new trashcans for everyone! Along with the 88,000 carts that were dropped off throughout the city, there were some new rules enacted. First of all, whatever trash you’re throwing out has to fit into that can. This means the lid has to close. The municipal workers will no longer pick up any overflow. No matter how insignificant you might think that extra bag of trash or box of papers might be if it’s not in the trashcan it’s going to stay on the curb. The goal is to make the permanent switch over to automatic trash pickups. The trucks will be doing all the work.
It is back to school time for thousands of Cincinnati Public School students. To mark the occasion, Superintendent Mary Ronan conducted a whirlwind tour of five schools. Among the stops were Silverton Paideia Academy, Aiken New Tech and Aiken Carpe Diem, Gamble Montessori High School, Rothenberg Preparatory Academy and Clark Montessori High School. Over at Aiken, the returning kids were the first to see the results of a decade-long billion-dollar building plan that will reach across the entire district. Aiken has two new buildings on their campuses and nothing beats being the first student in a brand new classroom.
Just in time for back to school, returning students to the University of Dayton are going to see the beginnings of a $70 million renovation project that is going to be spread out all across the campus. Slated for make-overs are the GE Aviation Dayton Electrical Power Research Lab, Founders Hall and the Roesch Library. This is going to mean new roofs, boilers, workspaces, equipment and furniture.
