A big office building in downtown Albany is going up on the auction block. The 47,000-square-foot building once housed the UHY accounting firm but they moved out in December 2010 when their lease was up. Many local businesses are catching the computer recycling wave by setting up a drop-off day for things like computers, monitors and other types of e-waste. Recently, WNYT and Taft Furniture held such an event. Although “recently” probably isn’t a good word to use. The event was last year.
